I don’t know what came over me today, but I decided to check
up on some of the past people in my life. Although we’re not connected through
any of the social sites, I took the plunge and dived out into the world of
Google, typed the name, and voila! It’s ironic. Even if there seems to be
nothing that should link me back, a part of me wanted to know how they were,
sans the hi’s and hello’s that would’ve existed if we were still
friends, so I chose to be a ‘stalker’ for a day.
Side note: I just forgot the name of the girl that I had been the
closest for 5 years. Time really makes you forget. Such a shame.
You need not omit the hi's and hello's I think... that other person might have needed it after all. More often than not, mirth springs forth when one knows that they are remembered.

ReplyDeleteIt cannot be qualified as "really" stalking because it happened once, not consecutively. I'm not sure that sounds creeeeppppy at all. ^_^
Although hi's and hello's do have their merits, I'm not sure it would've been fruitful at the time. But then again, I never tried. Maybe some other time.
